A 19-year-old cybersecurity researcher, Nisarga Adhikary, has alleged serious security flaws in Central Board of Secondary Education’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) portal, claiming vulnerabilities allowed unauthorised examiner access, password resets and possible mark manipulation. The claims surfaced amid ongoing criticism over CBSE’s digital evaluation process, including answer sheet mix-ups and portal glitches. Adhikary said he reported the issues to CERT-In in February, but several vulnerabilities allegedly remained unpatched before the portal was temporarily taken offline.

Union Education Minister Mr Dharmendra Pradhan held discussions with senior officials of SBI, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank and Indian Bank to overhaul the CBSE payment gateway system following recent technical issues faced by students. The meeting focused on strengthening payment protocols for post-examination services, including re-evaluation and answer sheet photocopies. The banks were asked to introduce faster grievance redressal, real-time monitoring and automatic refund systems to ensure secure and smooth digital transactions for students.

Kerala’s Higher Secondary Examination results for 2026 recorded a slight increase in the overall pass percentage to 77.97%. Girls outperformed boys, with 84.89% clearing the exam. Science stream students registered the highest success rate among streams. A total of 30,561 students secured all A+ grades, while 60 students achieved full marks. Idukki recorded the highest district-wise pass percentage. Results for technical, art, open school, and vocational higher secondary streams were also announced.

The SSC GD Constable 2026 examination has been cancelled at several centres following severe overcrowding and seating capacity breaches. Some venues reported over 800 candidates against a capacity of around 339 to 399, prompting suspension of shifts. The Staff Selection Commission has announced that affected exams will be rescheduled from May 27 onwards. BSEB scrutiny 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board has opened the scrutiny application process for Intermediate and Matric Special and Compartmental Examinations, 2026 from May 25 to May 29, 2026. Students can apply online by paying Rs 120 per subject. The board has also issued detailed instructions for correction of errors in mark sheets and original certificates related to the 2025 examinations. Applications for corrections will be processed through schools and divisional regional offices after document verification and fee submission.

DRDO CEPTAM 11 Result 2026: DRDO has declared the CEPTAM 11 Result 2026 for Senior Technical Assistant-B and Technician A posts on its official website, drdo.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the Tier 1 examination can now access their scorecards using their application number and date of birth. The result includes marks obtained and qualifying status for the next recruitment stage.
